FOCUS ON TAXES

Our company is responsible for its work in conformity with the law: should you pay penalties as a result of our omissions, we take measures to compensate you for the damages in the pre-trial manner through an insurance organization. We had the only case of such compensation in 2014. The customer got the refund and continued to work with us – this is an evidence of adequate understanding of the situation and effective interaction. We are ready for enhanced commitments. In case the insurance company unexpectedly refuses to pay the insurance indemnity, we are ready to cover the damages at our own expense, but not exceeding the contract value. This commitment is envisaged by our contract.

LIABILITY

Services are provided by a group of specialists focused primarily on reducing customers’ risks when paying sanctions on fiscal charges and contributions to extra-budgetary funds. At the same time, other issues are not ignored. MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

We performed a pre-investment assessment and analysis of the activities of a large car service station that the customer intended to acquire. Following the seller’s assurance, the business prospered, developed and showed profit.

We found that:

  • business was unprofitable;

  • there were significant risks of loss of the leased space (the landlord did not intend to renew the lease agreement);

  • in accounting records the equipment was shown as its own fixed assets but in fact it was leased;

  • a significant part of costs was not reported in the accounting records but was covered at the expense of the owner and “black cash” (income received through violations of the legislation of Belarus).


As a result, our customer declined the transacton.

We provided administrative support services during industrial complex construction.

We found that:

  • The engineering company systematically violated its commitments for construction support;

  • The general contractor systematically overestimated the volume of work performed by including unreasonable expenses in the work progress payments.

  • We performed the systematization and classification of 1500 acquired equipment units.

  • These measures allowed us to avoid the real estate tax payment on objects of unfinished over-standard construction.


As a result, the customer saved a significant amount of money and the ratio of our services costs and cost recovery ratio made 130.

  • We provided lecturing and training for employees concerning the rules of interaction and protection from aggressive actions of regulatory authorities, clarified their rights and commitments.

  • We assisted in filing complaints to the court against infringing actions of officials;

  • We rendered services of expressing protests against the details contained in the inspection/revision reports.


As a result, the majority of incriminated violations to the customer was successfully protested.

At the request of a large trading company we searched for a specialist for the requested position according to professional and personal criteria. Several dozens of applicants were interviewed and tested.

As a result, a specialist was proposed to the customer who was later on approved and held this position for the past several years.

The production company could not implement the software within three years: the costs amounted to tens of thousands of rubles per year and no acceptable result can be achieved.

We prepared a detailed technical specification for the organization that provided the implementation of the software, we monitored the process of implementation and introduction. An inventory of the workplace functionality was performed, as a result of which both deficiencies in the implementation and insufficient knowledge of the customer’s employees were identified. We compiled memo and trained the customer’s specialists.

As a result, the software implementation process was completed within a year.

A construction company, resident of Belarus, planned to perform construction activities in Russia.

We have provided training services for accounting specialists concerning accounting of income and expenses, taking into account the requirements of the legislation of Belarus, clarified certain requirements of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation and improved the accounting policy of the customer. VAT and income tax returns were prepared and submitted to the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation with the assistance of colleagues from a Russian auditing firm, a member of the HLB International Network.
